Aoife McLoughlin

I’m Aoife (ɪfə).

I’m currently the Director of Studies in ATC Language Schools, Bray, Co Wicklow, Ireland where I started out as a junior and adult teacher over six years ago.  Having worked as Assistant Director of Studies for two years, managing ATC’s Junior programme, designing in-house materials and our Junior syllabus, I decided to take the plunge and complete the Trinity Diploma in TESOL with Oxford House in Prague in 2013.

I’m passionate about all things TEFL, materials design and development being something I get truly excited about!! I would love nothing more than for you to check out the resources here on the blog and to get some feedback on how they worked for you and your students.  Looking forward to connecting with you here on ELT Connect.

Hi everyone! I’m Cheryl, originally from bonnie Scotland and currently working as an ESL teacher and Assistant Director of Studies at ATC Language Schools in Ireland. I’ve been working in the ESL industry since 2001 in various positions including activity leader, activity organiser, teacher and ADoS. Before settling in Ireland I spent 4 years travelling the world, learning languages and working in Spain, Poland and Scotland teaching young learners, teens and adults.

In 2012 I completed the Trinity Diploma in TESOL in sunny Barcelona and since then I’ve developed a keen interest in material design, technology and classroom management, particularly with teens and young learners. I hope you find the materials I’ve created useful and I welcome any feedback on how you got on with them.
