Valentine's Day LessonLesson – Valentine’s Day

An interactive lesson on how commercialised Valentine’s Day has become.  Students give their opinion and practise the Second Conditional as they ask and answer questions on the topic.  Students also watch a short YouTube clip of an advertisement,  re-ordering the pictures to tell the story before working in pairs to re-tell the story.

B2 Lesson – What is Love?

valentine's day Lesson – Love is..

In this lesson, students watch a YouTube clip and listen to children describing ‘love’ as they take notes to compare with their partners, before discussing the concept of a ‘street challenge’ where passers-by press a mysterious button in the street. The language focus is practicing usage of verbs + infinitives as groups design their own ‘street challenge’ and present to the class.
